Colin Kloecker

Colin Kloecker was born in Casper, Wyoming, raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and now lives in St. Paul, Minnesota. He trained as an architect at the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities and has since worked at Cermak Rhoades Architects, a small firm with a focus on affordable housing.

He happily commutes to work by foot (it's only a block) and is patiently waiting for the light rail connection between downtown St. Paul and downtown Minneapolis to become a reality. A founding member of Architecture for Humanity: Minnesota, he writes their official blog, Blog Like You Give A Damn.

If reduced to their elements, his interests are usually found at the intersection of humanitarian issues, sustainability, and the built environment. He believes that good architecture and urban planning should clarify the connections between people, land, and politics. His current passion is the organization of an event that will showcase worldchanging designers, artists, and activists in Twin Cities.
