HawthorneStreetcar.org, a web site for advocates of a streetcar for SE Hawthorne, has launched. In addition to being an interesting project from a transportation stand-point, it's also an interesting use of the web for community involvement and open collaboration. The forum provide an area for discussing ideas and concerns regarding the streetcar, including maps of possible routes. Our own Ethan Timm has already posted some valid points in the forum.
