The Greenest Greetings

Tis the season for printing all kinds of cards. Greene Street Greetings, a SoHo-based “sustainable and socially responsible stationery company, can keep the coal out of your stocking and your ecosystem with their 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper that is chlorine-free and printed with toxin-free soy and vegetable based inks.

In addition,Greene Street Greetings processes its orders and operates its own activist blog through a solar and wind-powered server, and offsets other energy overhead with terrapass carbon credits.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for in their many collections of cards, an in-house art director can help design custom orders.

Something else you might need over the holidays are their “fulfillment services, whereby they address and mail your cards for you, often in conjunction with Back Office New York, a program of The Doe Fund that provides job training for people who have been homeless.
