Andy Lubershane is a cartoonist and sustainability enthusiast who feels very lucky to be able to bring his two passions together as "earthly ideas," the comic strip he writes and illustrates for Worldchanging. He hopes to use his artwork -- comics in particular -- to communicate sustainability concepts in clear, humorous, memorable ways.

Andy graduated from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Government and has worked with kids in the Boston area for the past few years - mostly for the Citizen Schools after-school program. Andy Lubershane researches writes and cartoons about sustainability from his home in Ann Arbor, MI. He is currently pursuing a masters degree at the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment.
