Interim Managing Editor Amanda Reed has a master's degree in architecture from the University of Washington where she focused on green building and urban design, and urban water issues. At UW Amanda discovered a love of the editorial process while serving as the Managing Editor for the Department of Architecture's two journals "Column 5" (2008) and "Skin" (2009). In her writing at Worldchanging, she is most interested in exploring the intersections between climate change and the design of the built environment, learning about resilient urban water systems, and sharing stories on global projects that empower women.
