Paul Schmelzer of the unfailingly interesting and eclectic blog, Eyeteeth, recently conducted an interview with Cameron Sinclair "in a college dive bar, music blaring in the background..."
You won't hear the blaring music at Eyeteeth, but you will find excerpts from the interview, the entirety of which will be published in Schmelzer's upcoming book Land, Art: A Cultural Ecology Handbook, from the Royal Society of Arts' Arts & Ecology program. The title alone would make me buy it, and I gather the contents will not disappoint.
Looking forward to the book! For more information about the worldwide movement of artists exploring and directly addressing ecological issues you might want to check out greenmuseum.org- an online museum of environmental art. Lots of exciting work going on out there (since the 1970's) that most people aren't aware of.
